Anwar Maqsood is a renowned and celebrated scriptwriter, television host, satirist, humorist, and actor. He is well known for his artists write ups for Pakistan Television Corporation in the late 1970s and where he also served as presenter for a variety of shows including Studio Dhai and Studio Paunayteen along with Show Sha and a many others. He has written TV shows Fifty Fifty, Show Time, Silver Jubilee Show and Loose Talk, alongside the series Aangan Terha, Talaash, Sitara Aur Mehrunnisa, Nadan Nadia, Aisa Bhi Hota Hai, Colony 52, Majoo Mian, Koi Aur Hai and Hum Pe Jo Guzarti Hai, teleplays Half Plate and Fanooni Latifey and theatre plays Pawney 14 August, Sawa 14 August, Anwar Maqsood ka Dharna and Siachen. He is also the lyricist for Nestlé Nido Young Stars. Anwar Maqsood has been awarded the prestigious Hilal-e-Imtiaz and Lifetime Achievement Honour at 4th Pakistan Media Awards.

Ghazanfar Ali has been in television since the mid-sixties when he worked with PTV. In 2000, he launched Indus Vision, the country’s first independent satellite channel. As such, he’s garnered the label of ‘pioneer.’ The man behind Indus Entertainment, Ghazanfar Ali is also the pioneer of private productions. Behind the success story of the new independent news channel was also the creative mind of none other than Ghazanfar Ali. Today, following in his footsteps are a bevy of new television tycoons who have made it big. He launched Indus Music and later MTV Pakistan, which was able to secure its place as a leader in music television on the Pakistani scene. At 1st Indus Drama Awards, his TV series Mera Naam Hai Mohabbat, Bheegi Palkain and Karachi Law were nominated for Best TV Series.
